At the Social
Enterprise and Reporting Awards
(SERA), 2009, organized by
Trucontact Nigeria and the
Nigerian Institute of Public
Relations (NIPR), Fidelity Bank
emerged the Most Socially
Responsible Company in Nigeria
for Promotion of the Arts.
Nominees for this category
included companies like MTN
Nigeria, Dangote Group and Bank
PHB.
This is the 3rd
year running that Fidelity bank
plc have won that award. SERA
Awards this year were supported
eminently by the Federal Inland
Revenue Service (FIRS),
Standards Organization of
Nigeria (SON), UNICEF and the
Federal Ministry of Transport.
In October last year, Fidelity
Bank was declared the Most
Socially Responsible Bank in
Africa by the Africa Banker
magazine of London at the
IMF/World Bank meetings in
Washington DC.
